The Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002 is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced by Patek Philippe and also the workshop's first double-face wristwatch. Its movement consists of 686 parts, some of which are microscopically small.

Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002The Sky Moon Tourbillon has two fascinating faces - one towards the dial showing mean solar time and a perpetual date, and the other on the base with a map of the night sky, the angular movement of the moon, the moon phases and sidereal time. This is not only the most complicated wristwatch currently produced by Patek Philippe but also the first double-face wristwatch to be produced in the entire history of Geneva watchmaking. It incorporates 12 complications. The mechanical module for the astronomical indications on the sky-side dial has been awarded a Swiss patent.
